TRIP INFORMATION: When you receive your initial reservation, please check the provided vacation confirmation upon receipt and verify all information is correct. My Best Friend Went Inc will not be responsible for omissions or errors if not brought to their attention immediately. Payment must be received by the due date to avoid vendor cancellation.
DOCUMENTATION: U.S. citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months past your return date. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at http://travel.state.gov for further information. Immunizations may also be required. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
RESPONSIBILITY: My Best Friend Went Inc offers retail travel services to customers, which are provided by separate and independent vendors of travel services. My Best Friend Went Inc does not operate, control, or otherwise provide the services of the independent travel vendors. Hence, customer agrees and understands that My Best Friend Went Inc is not responsible for any operating failures, loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or members of your traveling party, nor for consequential damages, which may result from failure, delays, or injuries, which arise out of or during your scheduled travel. Customer agrees and understands that My Best Friend Went Inc is not responsible for any damages, direct or consequential, which may arise as a result of acts of God, social or labor unrest, war, political or national strike, terrorist activities, mechanical failures, climatic conditions, pandemic, or any other actions or omissions beyond My Best Friend Went Inc's control.
In the event an airline or travel vendor declares bankruptcy, it is not obligated to carry you or to provide funds. Money given to our agency immediately becomes the property of the airline or travel vendor as required by law. My Best Friend Went Inc is not allowed to provide refunds for vendors who have declared bankruptcy. If an airline or travel vendor declares bankruptcy, it might continue services or stop completely. Other airlines or travel vendors might provide alternative services under limited circumstances.
Initial deposit of $100 per person is due at time of booking.
Final payment of any remaining balance is due DEC 15, 2023.
CANCELLATION: In most cases the deposit made on a vacation package is nonrefundable. The specific terms and conditions of each travel operator are provided with your confirmation. Your agreeing to these Terms & Conditions confirms that you are been advised of payment deadlines and terms and conditions set forth by your specific travel provider. If you cancel your trip at a date outside of the allowable limits set forth by your travel provider and do not have travel protection, some or all of your money will not be refunded. My Best Friend Went LLC will not be responsible for providing refunds in cases where the travel provider does not provide a refund due to cancellation penalty guidelines & provided terms and conditions.
The country of MEXICO does not require a COVID-19 vaccine or negative COVID test for entry at this time.
The US Government does require proof of negative COVID test to fly home to the US. For your convenience, these tests are administered at the resort on the last day of your vacation and may incur an additional cost, depending on the room category you book. You are welcome to bring your own COVID test (eMed.com or similar) if you prefer.
The COVID situation is ever-evolving. While we at MYBESTFRIENDWENT make a conscientious effort to keep on top of COVID-related restrictions and other rules, we encourage travelers to do the same.
TRAVEL PROTECTION: My Best Friend Went Inc recommends travel vacation protection. Coverage it typically more comprehensive when travel insurance is purchased within the first 21 days after booking your vacation. My Best Friend Went Inc is not a licensed insurance agent and recommends that you review the coverage details of any travel insurance policy carefully before you purchase coverage. We personally insure our own travel with Trawick International, however, you are free to shop travel insurance companies and purchase a policy through any company you choose.
